Don't blink...

Before I knew it Abby was starting her first day of kindergarten. She was soooo excited to go. I drove her on the first day (more for me than for her) and as soon as we got there and she saw all the kids going in, her grip got tighter and tighter. "Mom, look at all those classes" As we walked in a couple of kids from our ward said "HI, ABBY"....which brought a big smile to her face, but no words. Then her (very enthusiastic) teacher gave her a big hug and said "I know both your grandmas and your great-grandma" that triggered her big smile again, but still no words came out. She SLOWLY found a seat, keeping me in her sights and gave a little wave goodbye. The hardest part was walking out of the building trying to keep my tears from spilling over as people were asking how I was holding up. I am so excited for Abby and I wouldn't want her to miss this opportunity and the excitement of getting big... so why is there a part of me (a big part) that CAN'T STAND to let her go :(

The second day she got to ride the bus! The kids meet in the middle to catch the bus.

They formed a shortest to tallest line, the 2nd one is Abby's good friend and also in her class... so fun!

I couldn't get it to turn, sorry.

AND... to top it off, she lost her first tooth (I know it's a little too much for me too) She looks so OLD!!!

After the shock wore off... she was happy, but is pretty sure that she doesn't want to go through that again! Sorry, Abbs I can't do anything about that one :)

3 years...

So it's official... our little Aisha is 3! I'm not sure when it happened, but it sure did. She has been talking about being 3 for a while now and the night before, she was nothing but giggles. She is NOT a morning person, however, so it took a little coaxing she soon realized that her day had finally arrived.

(she's holding up three fingers if you can't tell)

She loved my poor excuse for decorations and kept saying "like a princess, Mom" That's exactly what I was going for, Aisha ;)

Just in case you forgot, she's three!

This little tiger cub makes newborn sounds and Aisha just melts... it's pretty cute.

Here's her long awaited request... a rainbow cake complete with skittles and marshmallows (for the clouds) yup, yup, I really outdid myself on this one!

She got a pool and once in her swimming suit as some of you may know... always in her swimming suit.

We are blessed to live by family and it was kind of a busy day for everyone, but Aisha was excited to have people in and out most of the day. She was way excited to have Jaida and Kamden come and swim and eat cake!
I LOVE you Aisha! It has been a FUN 3 Years together. Thanks for all the JOY and LAUGHS you bring to our family. I will forever be thankful that I get to be your mom!

Hmmm... where to start

Life has been... let's say...FULL!
Full of:
hugs
tears
dress-up
swim suits
teething
laughter
family
drama
kisses
phone calls
birthdays
giggles
hair (lots of girls)
prayer
school
owies
work
food
medicine
more kisses
more drama
princesses
diapers
laundry
doctor visits
church callings
sunshine
sunburns
and...
more prayer!
Did you notice that BLOGGING wasn't on the list. I think about catching up with all the pictures and posts after the girls are in bed... then I think "I'm just going to sit here and do nothing" or "Adam, let's watch a movie and eat ice cream" or "ZZZZZZZZZ"
Just know that I love my life and we are doing awesome. I'm not making any promises, but I'll try to catch up with my posts and stay that way ;-)
Love you all,
Brittnee

Nate's Wedding

I couldn't keep up with the bride and groom to get a good picture of them close up, she looked beautiful and you weren't too bad either, Nate :)

Even little Sami got a skirt like the big girls! And I only had to cut about half off:)

My girls love to see Temples, all morning Aisha couldn't stop telling everyone that she was going to the temple!

Abby later in the car said "Mom, remember when I got to touch the temple" Kids are so in tune with the spirit, they just know what a special place it is.

Dayne, the "best man"

My handsome brother was all smiles that day.

Heather and Hattie...just waiting for pictures. I love weddings!

I don't think this smile left Aisha's face while she was near the temple.

Dev and Nicole

Almost all of us, Sean is on a mission in California. We haven't all been together for a few years, someone is usually on a mission or too far away. I LOVE being with my family we ALWAYS have a good time wherever we are. And I'm so thankful they have each married amazing people who put up with all the craziness:) Congrats to Nate and Melissa!

Free time....What's that?!

My youngest class waiting patiently for their turn to dance at my mom's drill team recital. I'm missing three, but aren't they adorable?!

Especially this one :)

ready for my close ups

Sami at 7 weeks

My three beauties...just enjoying life!

So Aisha woke up Easter Sunday on the WRONG side of the bed until....

I guess she gets it from me, just say the word candy and I'm all smiles too ;)

We had a GREAT day! What could be better than General Conference with family on a beautiful day while celebrating the resurrection of our Savior!

lovin' life...

1 week old
I was so glad when Sami's belly button healed up so I could give her a real bath.

Look how strong and what a cute little head =)

The girls LOVE their Dad, he is the BEST playmate.

I'm trying to get Abby to smile normal for pictures, so my new thing for her is "say CHASE" (her best buddy)
2 weeks

It's hard to get a picture of this girl when she's not crying, but I think she has a cute crying face too!
Poor girl with pink eye (her left one) the morning before, she came in my room looking like Rocky with her eye swollen shut...but in good ol' Aisha fashion, she was smiling and skipping.

Her first bath at 3 weeks

Waking up to Sami... It's like Christmas all over again!

In Aisha's words... "Oh, She's dawake" "It's okay, it's okay, it's okay" "Hi, Sami, hi" And any noise that Sami makes Aisha says..."Oh, man... hiccups"
